Overflow trash? You have a new option. 
To accommodate the occasional heavy trash week, starting Jan 13 residential customers will have the option of placing special overflow bags outside of their green carts. There is no charge, but annual limitations apply to each property – 4 per year for single-family homes; 8 per year for two-family homes; and 12 per year for larger properties. Bags are available ONLY at DPW offices, 475 Valley St. Proof of residency is required.
