Work is continuing on the water main break on Ridgedale Ave avoid this area if possible and expect delays. 
Due to a water main break on Ridgedale Ave., Abbett Ave. will be closed at Jardine Rd. for the foreseeable future, likely several hours. The Exit 36 off shoot from Rt. 287 SB will also be closed, with vehicles having to access Lafayette Ave. from Rt. 287 S. Ridgedale Ave. will be restricted to one lane in each direction, so long as it remains safe to accommodate traffic on the roadway. Ridgedale Ave. is subject to closure should the water main emergency worsen. MPD will update as more information becomes available when the extent of the repair is made known to us. Please avoid this area at all costs today.
