Last night we had dozens of accidents all centering around the extreme cold and the light snow which was placed onto the road surface. Our officers worked through the night to check roads and clear up the numerous accident scenes and public works provided layer after layer of protection in anticipation for the morning commute.
In any case, if it looks wet, its frozen and you will slide. Four wheel drive only means all four wheels will be spinning as you slide off the road. No matter what you drive, use caution.
