| On July 2, 2019, a shooting into a residence occurred on the 100 Block of East Pearl Drive in the City of Port Hueneme. At the time of the shooting a family of five, including three juveniles, were inside the residence. As a result of the shooting, a 7 year old female and her mother were struck by bullets. On December 18, 2019, Anthony Silerio was arrested for his involvement with the shooting. He was booked at the Pre-Trial Detention Facility for Penal Code section 664/187, Attempted Murder, Penal Code section 246, Shooting at an Inhabited Dwelling, Penal Code section 245(a)(2), Assault with a Firearm, and Penal Code section 186.22(a), Street Terrorism. He is currently in custody at the Pre-Trial Detention Facility with bail set at $1,000,000. |
