Abington Police to host a BLOOD DRIVE! Give the gift of life this holiday season!

In the spirit of giving this holiday season, why not give something that can save a precious life! Did you know that approximately 32,000 pints of blood are used each day in the United States and blood is needed every 3 seconds. So, on Saturday, December 28th, 2019, from 8am - 2:30 pm you can stop by the Abington Police station to donate blood. Each donated pint can be used to save three people's lives!

In conjunction with the Kraft Family Blood Donor Center, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Brigham and Woman's Hospital, the Blood Mobile will be parked at the police station for the day.

It is strongly recommended that you make an appointment by logging on to;, however walk-ins will be taken as time allows. If you have any questions you can call 617-632-3206.

Oh, also, if you donate, don't forget you get a $5 Dunkin Donuts gift card to get a drink of your choice as a THANK YOU!
