There is a scheduled demonstration tonight which may result in the closure of Witherspoon Street 
Due to a scheduled event in Hinds Plaza, we wanted to make you aware that travel through the Central Business District may be impacted this evening between 5 pm and 6:30 pm. If there is an overflow crowd Witherspoon Street will be closed between Wiggins/Paul Robeson Street and Nassau Street to through traffic. In addition, Hulfish Street may be closed from Witherspoon Street to Palmer Square East.
Traffic turning off of Nassau Street to head north on Witherspoon Street will be allowed but will be detoured down Spring Street.
Those attending the event should plan on parking in a garage or a distance from the event as there may be closures in place if crowds show up early. Here is a parking link:
