On December 14, 2019, at around 6:30 a.m., Kern County Sheriff’s Office deputies from the Lamont Substation were called to the 8500 block of School Street regarding a deceased person. Deputies located a deceased woman in her 30s in the house. Due to suspicious circumstances, homicide detectives assumed the investigation.
