INCIDENT: Human Trafficking of an Adult
LOCATION: 9200 Block of Haven Ave. Rancho Cucamonga, CA
SUSPECT(S): Sethtaniel Tyrece Davis, 38-year-old male resident of Los Angeles, Ca
VICTIM(S): Confidential, 20-year-old female resident of Los Angeles County
SUMMARY: On Monday, December 2, 2019 at about 5:00 am, investigators from the San Bernardino County Human Trafficking Task Force, responded to a request for assistance from deputies at the Rancho Cucamonga Station. Rancho Cucamonga deputies responded to a disturbance at a local hotel where they contacted the victim. Initially, deputies believed the incident was a domestic disturbance, however they learned the female was the victim of Human Trafficking. The suspect, Sethtaniel Tyrece Davis left the location prior to deputies arriving. The victim was transported to the Rancho Cucamonga Police Station where Task Force members assumed the investigation.
During their interview with the victim, investigators learned of Sethtanial Davis' relationship to the victim and his involvement in her being Human Trafficked. The victim also confirmed the original call for service was a result of Davis assaulting her. The victim sustained injuries because of Davis’s assault and received medical treatment. She was rescued and provided victim services prior to being safely released from the station.
Davis has yet to be located and investigators are seeking the public’s help in locating him. This investigation is ongoing.
