11/27 – 1:26 a.m. – Police received a suspicious persons report on West Van Buren Street. The caller stated two black males were using flashlights to look in vehicles. The officer responded to the area however, was unable to locate anyone. Later that day the department took a report of a burglary to vehicle report on West Adams Street, in which a purse was stolen from an unlocked vehicle. Anyone with information regarding this incident should contact the police department.
