REMINDER TRAFFIC ADVISORY - Franklin Street Closure Announced Due to Construction Project 
Newark Public Safety Director Anthony F. Ambrose announces that Franklin Street, between Mulberry Street and Broad Street, will be closed through Monday, December 23rd due to construction.
Franklin Street will be closed as part of the Newark Parking Deck project. No through traffic will be permitted along Franklin Street for the period, including weekends.
Due to potential traffic delays resulting from this project, we encourage those traveling in the area to allow extra time and to plan alternate routes.
Director Ambrose thanks you for your ongoing support and urges anyone with information about criminal or suspicious activities to call the Department's 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477). All anonymous Crime Stopper tips are kept confidential and could result in a reward.
