On December 8, 2019, at 12:42 p.m., Kern County Sheriff’s Office Deputies assigned to the Rosamond Substation attempted to conduct a traffic stop for a vehicle code violation in the area of 20th Street West and Center Street in Rosamond. The driver of the vehicle, 20-year-old Terries Salas, accelerated away from deputies and a pursuit was initiated.
