Deputy Steven McPeters of the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office charged Jessica Ann Duncan, 24, address listed as Spring Street in Marion, with possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
                At 1:53 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 8, McPeters stopped a vehicle on North McDowell Avenue for traffic violations. Duncan was a passenger in the car.
                McPeters searched the suspect and her belongings and came away with .5 gram of methamphetamine, a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
                Marion police officers issued traffic citations to the driver of the automobile.
