INCIDENT: FATAL TRAFFIC COLLISION

Road Closure: Temple Blvd is shut down in both directions for the next several hours near the 57 Freeway.
On December 9, 2019, at 12:21 AM, Pomona Police dispatch received a call of a vehicle versus pedestrian traffic collision in the area of Temple Blvd near the 57 Frwy on-ramp. When officers arrived on scene, they located a deceased male down in the lanes of traffic.
The driver of the automobile remained at the scene and has cooperated with the investigating officers. The preliminary investigation has begun and the primary collission factors are unknown at this time. The identity of the pedestrian will determined by the LA County Coroner's office.
