Traffic Advisory: 31st Annual MB Fireworks Show Parking Restrictions and Street Closures

This Sunday, December 8, 2019 will be the 31st Annual Manhattan Beach Holiday Fireworks Show.  The Holiday Fireworks show has become one of the largest events held in our City.  Please take the time to read the attached map.  It includes parking restrictions, road closures, emergency access, bike path restrictions, and the fall out area around the Pier.

This event draws thousands of residents and visitors to the Downtown area.  PLEASE ARRIVE EARLY.  The fireworks are scheduled to start at 7pm.  If you arrive at 6:30 pm, you probably won’t make it into the Downtown area.  If you are driving, plan to arrive at least 2 to 3 hours prior to the event.  We recommended taking a taxi or ride share and request to be dropped off outside the Downtown area and walk to the Downtown area.  After the event, we recommend walking out of the Downtown area to get picked up.

The Manhattan Beach Police Department will have extra Traffic Officers, Patrol Officers, Community Service Officers, and Contemporary Service Corporation (CSC) Security Officers to help people navigate through the area and to keep everyone safe.

Please go to www.MBFIREWORKS.com for more information.

Thank you and enjoy the fireworks!
