Update - Hardwick Town Hall Warming Center

Currently 284 Hardwick residences remain without power. JCP&L repair crews arrived yesterday, are here today and have restored approximately 350 homes durinng that period. Hopefully most of us will be restored by today.

As long as a significant number of residents continue to be impacted by this outage, Hardwick Town Hall will remain open as a warming and charging center. We have extended an invitation to Balirstown residents to use our municipal building during this emergency and Mayor Lance will be sending an announcement to Blairtown residents informing them of this service.

The hours of operation today (and tomorrow if needed) for the center are 9:30am to 8:00pm. Again, please bring your own snacks and beverages and no pets please.

We're not out of the woods yet, but I want to thank our residents for their patience and generosity over the past several days as our community endures and recovers from yet another weather related emergency. Thiese have become an annual event. Special thanks also to the Hardwick  DPW team for keeping our roads open and safe under very difficult and dangerous conditions. Thanks also to Judy Fisher for keeping the town hall operation running without power or internet service and to Jim Perry, Chris Jacksic and Desiree Dunn for staffing the warming-charging center. My apologies if I missed  anyone, it was not intentional.

Kevin Duffy - Mayor
Al Carrazzone - Deputy Mayor
Jim Perry - Committeeman
