Advisory

Outage Update

At present, approximately 92% of Hardwick residents are still without power. We have been in contact with the Governor's office, Congressman  Gottheimer and Senator Oroho to update them about our situation and express our concerns around JCP&L's management of this latest major outage. At this time, I do not have a reliable Estimated Time of Restoration to share. A number of North Wareen communities have also been similarly affected, particularly Hope, Freylinghuysen, Blairstown and Liberty.

While we wait for power to be restored, Hardwick Town Hall will remain open as a charging and warming center. Please bring your own snacks and beverages. No pets. If anyone wishes to stay overnight, please let us know by 9pm by calling Town Hall at 362-6528 or emailing me at [email protected]. Be advised that town hall does not have internet access at the present time but we are working getting it restored.

As always, new information will be shared with you as it becomes available and we can find a location w/internet access. (I'm using Ridge & Valley's office and internet to send this message).
