Traffic stop leads to arrest of French Lick man.
On November 29, 2019, at 12:36 p.m. Deputy Jennifer Loesch stopped a 1999 Chevy Silverado for speeding on US 41 near State Road 64. Upon approaching the vehicle 22-year-old George Bullington French Lick, Indiana was identified as the driver. Upon speaking with Mr. Bullington Deputy Loesch asked for consent to search the vehicle and located a long gun and two hand guns inside the vehicle. At the end of her investigation Mr. Bullington was placed into custody and transported to the Gibson County Jail where he was charged with Carrying a Handgun Without a License with a Prior Conviction. He remains in custody on a $1250 bond.
Assisting Deputy Loesch in her investigation was Princeton Officers Jay Riley, Jason Swan, and Princeton Reserve Logan Lashbrook.
All Criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until, and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
