7th Precinct Participates with Sussex Avenue School’s Thanksgiving Dinner and Student Wins New Television 
7th Precinct Community Service Officers, J. Rivera and L. Wyckoff, joined the Sussex Avenue School’s Students, Parents and Staff for Thanksgiving dinner.
During this event, officers raffled off a 50 inch Smart Television donated to the 7th Precinct by Cathy Defazio McBride, mother of fallen Detective Melvin Santiago of the Jersey City Police Department.
The young boy pictured was the winner of the TV and had a huge smile. He gives thanks to the Newark Police Division and the Melvin Santiago Foundation and says that he now gets to happily play his video games.
