On Tuesday, November 26, 2019, at approximately 10:30 a.m., deputies from the Wasco Substation were dispatched to a burglary in progress in the 1400-block of Highway 46. As deputies arrived, they located a vehicle leaving the burglary location. Deputies initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle and detained 23-year-old Jose Alvarez, 25-year-old Raul Hernandez, 36-year-old Alejandrino Hernandez, all of Wasco.
During a search of the vehicle, deputies located over $5,000 in stolen property and a loaded .22 caliber rifle. After further investigation, all three subjects were arrested and booked into the Central Receiving Facility for burglary, conspiracy and carrying a loaded firearm in a vehicle.
