The City of Laguna Beach is expected to be impacted by a storm on Wednesday, November 27th, 2019 through Friday, November 29th, 2019 which will bring intermittent periods of heavy rain and potential localized flooding. The most significant phases of the storm are predicted during the morning and afternoon on Wednesday and then again Thursday afternoon through evening. Prediction models can change to stay tuned to local weather reports. Out of an abundance of caution, Downtown and Canyon residents and business owners are encouraged to put your flood gates into place Tuesday night and Thursday (Thanksgiving) while your business is closed as a precautionary measure to protect your property and inventory.

As a reminder, the City of Laguna Beach is providing pre-filled sandbags to residents and business owners from two locations. These sandbags are not for contractors.

1. Act V parking lot – 1900 Laguna Canyon Road
2. Aliso Beach East parking – 31118 Coast Highway

Sandbags are also available at Laguna Beach’s four fire stations. They are free; however, you must provide your own sand. It is not permitted to fill them with sand from Laguna’s beaches or playgrounds.
