* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 4 to 7 inches. Winds gusting as high as 50 mph.

* WHERE...In Nebraska, Washington, Saunders and Seward Counties. In Iowa, Harrison County.

* WHEN...Until 9 AM CST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Travel will become very difficult. Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility with near blizzard conditions possible. The hazardous conditions could impact the evening commute. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches.

* AFFECTED AREAS: HARRISON ... SEWARD ... WASHINGTON ... SAUNDERS
