Winter Springs Winter Wonderland Parking and Road Closure Details

The 2019 Winter Springs Winter Wonderland will be on Saturday, December 7, 2019.  The event is two parts, a holiday parade and the tree lighting.  North Tuskawilla Road and Blumberg Boulevard will be closed to on street parking starting at 12:01 AM on Saturday, December 7, 2019.  North Tuskawilla Road and Blumberg Boulevard will both be closed to through traffic starting at 1:00 pm.  Tree Swallow Drive will be closed at the entrance/exit of The Town Center and from The Blake Apartments also starting at 1:00 pm.

The holiday parade starts at 4:30 pm at Keeth Elementary School and travels north on Tuskawilla Road ending in the Town Center on Blumberg Boulevard. Normal vehicular traffic on Tuskawilla Road will be transitioned so that both north and southbound traffic will be in the southbound lanes.  This will lead to congestion in the area.  The movement of traffic flows will begin at 3:30 pm.  Normal traffic flow should resume around 6:30 pm on Tuskawilla Road, south of 434.  Use Lake Drive, 17-92 and Red Bug Lake Road as alternates to avoid the area.

N. Tuskawilla Road will be closed from State Road 434 to the High School access road and Blumberg Boulevard will be closed from Bear Springs Drive to N. Tuskawilla Road.  Those road closures will start at 1:00 pm and stay closed until 10:00 pm.  Motorists can go around the closure by using Bear Springs Drive to the High School access road or by taking Michael Blake Blvd to N. Tuskawilla Rd.  The tree lighting festivities will start as soon as the parade passes through N. Tuskawilla.
