NOTICE OF CONSTRUCTION
MOUNTAIN AVENUE BETWEEN HATFIELD STREET AND FOREST AVENUE (MILLING & PAVING)

Milling and Paving will occur on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 from 7 AM to 5 PM on Mountain Avenue between Hatfield Street in the Borough of Caldwell and Forest Avenue in West Caldwell.

Mountain Avenue will be closed to vehicular traffic during the construction from Hatfield Street to Forest Avenue in West Caldwell. If you need to leave your residence during the construction, please do so before 7 AM. All residents on Ferndale Road can access Mountain Avenue from Glenview Road to leave their residence and drive north. Mountain Avenue, Glenview Road, Hill Street Orient Way, Arbor Road and Courter Lane residents can access Mountain Avenue and drive north to exit their residences.

All residents on the above named streets can return to their homes via Forest Avenue/Mountain Avenue closure. The officer posted will allow you access.

Detours will be in place throughout the milling and paving process and officers will be available to assist as needed. Once the milling and paving starts at 7 AM, residents will not be allowed access to their homes with their vehicles if your residence is within the construction area. All vehicles will not be able to drive on the roadway. We kindly ask that you make any arrangements necessary to not interfere with the construction work.

Overnight parking will be allowed on side streets surrounding Mountain Avenue the night before if you need to venture out after 7 AM. (i.e. Ferndale Road & Hatfield Street)
