TRAFFIC ADVISORY - Street Closures Announced Due to Funeral of Member of Newark Department of Public Safety 
Newark Public Safety Director Anthony F. Ambrose announces that due to the funeral of a member of the Newark Police Division, the below listed streets will be closed during the following designated hours:
9 a.m. to 1 p.m. - Monday, November 25, 2019
• Bergen Street between Lyons Avenue and Shephard Avenue
Traffic officers will direct drivers along streets in the area during the event.
Drivers are advised to anticipate delays and to plan alternate routes.
Director Ambrose thanks you in advance for your patience and cooperation during this event. He also urges anyone with information regarding any criminal or suspicious information to call the Department's 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477). All anonymous Crime Stopper tips are kept confidential and could result in a reward.
