Let the holidays begin! The giving tree is up at the Abington Police Department.

Once again we are happy to announce that the Council on Aging and the Abington Police Department have partnered with our annual Giving Tree for our local seniors. The Giving Tree is designed to collect donations for the Meals on Wheels clients and elderly residents in need who may be alone, housebound or living on a fixed income.

The tree is located in the lobby of the Abington Police Station and is covered with ornaments which are items our seniors could use. Please come in and take a tag and return an UNWRAPPED gift by placing it under the tree on or before December 16, 2019. This will make sure that the gifts are distributed in time for Christmas.

We would like to once again thank everyone that contributed last year and we hope that you can help us again this year.

The members of the Abington Police Department and the Abington Council on Aging would like to thank everyone in advance. May the peace, joy and love of the season be with all of you.

If you have any questions regarding this program, please call Michelle Robinson, Meals on Wheels Coordinator at 781-982-2145 Ext 3.
