November 5th

November 6th

Hit & Run – Potrero Ave / San Pablo Ave:
At 1:17 am, an officer reports a non-injury hit and run collision which occurred in the intersection. After the crash, the driver fled the area on foot and left his vehicle abandoned at the intersection. Both cars had to be towed from the scene.

Armed Robbery – Ohlone Greenway / Conlon Ave:
At 7:19 pm, officers responded to a report of an armed robbery, which occurred approximately 30 minutes before the call for service. The suspect produced a dark semi-auto handgun, demanded the victim’s property, and fled in an unknown direction.

Warrant Arrest – Fairmount Ave / BART Path:
At 10:56 pm, an officer contacted a woman walking up Fairmount Ave, who he knew to have an arrest warrant. The woman was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.

November 7th

Shoplifting – 670 EC Plaza (CVS):
At 6:37 pm, an officer reports a male entered the CVS store, selected one bottle of alcohol, and fled the store on foot.

Shoplifting – 11565 San Pablo Ave (Walgreens):
At 9:51 pm, officers responded to a report of a shoplifter who was arguing with employees after she jumped over the counter and stole items. A woman was located outside of the store and placed under citizen’s arrest. The woman was issued a citation at the scene and released.

November 8th

Public Intoxication – Central Ave / San Pablo Ave:
At 12:26 am, an officer observed a male stumbling through the intersection in front of moving cars. The male was evaluated and determined to be unable to care for himself due to his level of intoxication. The male was arrested and transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.

Residential Burglary – 5300 block of Potrero Ave:
At 3:20 pm, an officer reports an unknown subject entered the victim’s residence via an unlocked bedroom window and stole property.

Brandishing – 11299 San Pablo Avenue:
After an altercation inside a business, an employee exited the store and displayed a firearm while telling the victim to leave. Officers arrived at the store and located a loaded handgun and arrested the store employee. The suspect was booked at the ECPD and transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.

Burglary – 10636 San Pablo Avenue, 24 Hour Fitness:
An officer went to the business on the report that someone had cut the padlock from a locker and stole property.

November 9th

Vandalism – 11280 San Pablo Ave:
At 11:04 am, an officer reports the citizen’s arrest of a 33-year-old man who damaged a vehicle at a business. The male was issued a citation and released from the scene.

Residential Burglary – 6700 block of Portola Dr:
At 11:52 am, an officer reports an unknown suspect gained access to the victim’s residence by breaking the rear sliding glass window. The contents of the home were rummaged through, but no loss was reported.

Grand Theft – Cutting Blvd. at Peerless Avenue:
An officer responded to the report that a suspect took a cellular telephone out of a woman’s hand and then rode off on their bicycle.

November 10th

Commercial Burglary – 10182 San Pablo Ave:
At 5:58 am, an officer reports an unknown suspect broke the front window to the business and removed miscellaneous paperwork before fleeing. While investigating this crime, officers located two additional businesses that had been burglarized during the early morning hours.

Petty Theft – 7100 block of B St:
At 7:50 am, an officer reports an unknown suspect entered the side yard of the victim’s residence and removed two unsecured bicycles.

Shoplifting – 670 El Cerrito Plaza:
At 1:57 pm, an officer reports an unknown suspect entered the store and began to fill a reusable shopping bag with the merchandise. Store staff confronted the suspect who, in turn, exited the store and ran away.

November 11th

Shoplifter - CVS 670 EC Plaza:
At 2:18 pm, an officer responded to the report of a shoplifter who reportedly stole $400 in hair care products. The suspect, a 27-year-old man, was located in the parking lot. He was placed under citizen’s arrest, booked and then released on a citation.

DUI Collision – San Pablo Ave / Bayview Ave:
At 9:23 pm, officers responded to a report of a hit and run collision and located the vehicle several blocks away. The driver, a 56-year-old male, was arrested for DUI and transported to a local hospital for injuries sustained during the crash. The man received a citation and was left in the care of the medical staff at the hospital.

November 12th

Battery – 5200 block of Victor Ave:
At 9:15 pm, an officer reports an argument between a landlord and tenant, which turned physical. The 55-year-old tenant was placed under citizen’s arrest and issued a citation before being released at the scene.

November 13th

Attempted Robbery - San Pablo Ave / Knott Ave:
At 4:19 pm, an officer responded to the report of a robbery that occurred somewhere along the Ohlone Greenway in between Baxter Creek and Knott Ave. At approximately 3:30 pm, the victim was approached by three subjects riding bicycles. They asked the victim if he wished to purchase marijuana, to which he declined. They then began to check his pockets and demanded money. When he refused and fought back, they punched him until he fell to the ground. The suspects then fled the area.

November 14th

Residential Burglary – 7100 block of Plank Ave:
At 3:07 pm, an officer responded to the report of a residential burglary. In between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm, an unknown suspect slit open a screen, pushed open a window to the residence, and climbed inside. They then conducted a messy ransack of the interior of the house.

Trespassing and Disorderly Conduct – Los Moles 6120 Potrero Ave:
At 3:17 pm, an officer responded to a report of a subject refusing to leave the premises and causing a disturbance. Officers arrived and contacted the man who was placed under citizen’s arrest. Due to his level of intoxication, the man was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.

Residential Burglary – 7100 block of Mound Ave:
At 3:40 pm, an officer responded to the report of a residential burglary that just occurred. The homeowner confronted the suspect, later determined to be a 34-year-old Napa man inside his residence. The suspect fled on foot. A few minutes later, calls began to come in about a subject hopping fences on Everett St and then Richmond Street. A perimeter was set around the area, and the subject was located hiding in a garage on Richmond Street. He was arrested with the assistance of an RPD K-9. The subject was booked into the Martinez Detention Facility.

Shoplifting – CVS 670 El Cerrito Plaza:
At 9:01 pm, an officer reports an unknown suspect entered the business and selected a large quantity of personal hygiene products before fleeing the store without payment.
