PG&E has delayed the start time for the Public Safety Power Shutoff to Wednesday (tomorrow) at 1:00 p.m.  The ending time is remaining the same – Thursday morning at 8:00 a.m.   These times are changing due to changing weather patterns.  Please remember that the repowering process takes time, so the power will not come on until some time after Thursday 8:00 a.m.

PG&E may add additional shutoff addresses due to these changing weather patterns.  Please continue to check your address on the PG&E website (www.pge.com) as your address may be added or deleted.  

The incoming weather pattern is supposed to have high winds which may damage power lines, regardless of whether they are energized.  If you see a downed or damaged power line, please stay away from it and call PG&E to report it at (800) 743-5000.  For non-emergency assistance, call Dispatch at (925) 284-5010.  For emergencies, please call 9-1-1.

We are continuing to work with PG&E and other Lamorinda public safety agencies to monitor the situation.  We will continue to provide additional information as it is received.  Thank you for your patience as we work together through this power shutoff.
