VICTIMS Ulysses Solis Morenda, age 17 a resident of Fontana
Confidential 18-year-old male remains hospitalized
SUMMARY:
On Monday, November 18, 2019, at approximately 11:42 a.m., deputies from the Fontana Sheriff’s Station responded to shots heard call in the 13800 block of Cobblestone Court in the unincorporated area of Fontana. Upon arrival, deputies located two victims with gunshots wounds. Emergency medical personnel arrived on scene and pronounced Ulysses Solis Morenda deceased inside a vehicle. The second victim, an adult male, was located outside of the vehicle. He was transported to a local area hospital and is in critical condition.
Sheriff’s Specialized Investigators, Homicide Detail, responded to the location to conduct the investigation. Investigators have determined that three unknown black males were seen walking toward the victim’s vehicle and then seen talking to them. Gunshots were heard, and the three suspects were seen running down the street.
Investigators are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspects involved in the shooting.
