INCIDENT: Fatal traffic collision
LOCATION: 6800 Block of Victoria Ave - Highland
VICTIM(S): Greg Alan Rose, age 68 a resident of Highland
SUMMARY: Deputies from the Highland Police Department were dispatched to the 6800 block of Victoria Ave to a report of a vehicle vs a pedestrian in a wheelchair traffic collision. Deputies and Cal Fire personnel arrived on scene and conducted CPR on the pedestrian. The driver of the vehicle remained on scene and was cooperative with deputies. The pedestrian was transported to Saint Bernardines Medical Center by AMR and was pronounced dead soon after arrival to the hospital. The driver and a passenger were also transported to Saint Bernardines Medical Center for the complaint of pain. The identity of the pedestrian is being withheld pending investigation.
