* Have packages delivered to your office or a trusted neighbor
* Consider an alternate delivery option (e.g. Amazon locker, UPS access point, FedEx office, Post Office box, in-store pick-up, etc.)

If you are a victim of a porch pirate theft, file a police report with the Santa Clara Police Department at www.scpd.org. Even if your package is a low-value item, reporting the problem can help law enforcement uncover larger theft operations.
