Cold Temperatures: Very cold temperatures will quickly build in behind the cold front. A widespread hard freeze can be expected across the majority of the area, including Clayton County, tonight into Wednesday morning with temperatures ranging from the upper teens in the mountains to near 30 in far southern portions of the central GA.  A Freeze Warning is in effect for much of north and central Georgia, where the growing season has not ended. Gusty winds will also contribute to even lower wind chills. Be cautious when traversing over wet areas where ice can accumulate, such as bridges.
