A 12 yr old boy was arrested for making threatening statements on Snapchat to shoot a student & shoot up the school

SUSPECT: 12-year-old male, resident of Rancho Cucamonga
SUMMARY:
On Friday, November 8, 2019, deputies responded to a local middle school for a report of threats of a possible school shooting. School officials reported they received a voicemail the night before from a witness who said they saw the threats on Snapchat. The suspect threatened to shoot one student in particular and then shoot up the school. Through investigation, deputies identified the suspect as a 12-year-old male student. The suspect was arrested for making criminal threats and booked at the San Bernardino Juvenile Hall. The investigation is ongoing.
