...LIGHT SNOW ACCUMULATIONS AND RAPIDLY DROPPING TEMPERATURES TO BRING SLICK CONDITIONS TUESDAY MORNING... .A strong cold front will move into the Appalachians causing light rain to quickly change to snow in the mountains Tuesday morning, with some light snow accumulations along western slopes and along the southern Blue Ridge into the mountains of North Carolina, and wet roads freezing and becoming icy quickly Tuesday morning around the morning commute times. Light snow accumulations will continue through midday with cold, windy conditions lasting into Tuesday night.
* WHAT...For the Winter Weather Advisory, snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph. For the Wind Chill Advisory, very cold wind chills expected. Wind chills as low as 10 below zero.
* WHERE...Western Greenbrier County.
* WHEN...For the Winter Weather Advisory, from 4 AM to 7 PM EST Tuesday. For the Wind Chill Advisory, from 7 PM Tuesday to 7 AM EST Wednesday.
