Chino Hills deputies assist with chemical spill

Location: 12000 Block of East End Avenue Chino (unincorporated area)

Incident: Chemical Leak

Summary:

Deputies are assisting the fire department and other first responders with a chemical leak at a commercial business located on the 12000 block of East End Avenue. The fire department has asked residents in the immediate area to shelter inside. Anyone not in the area is asked to stay out of the area and to respect road closures.

UPDATE: November 9, 2019 / 5:08am

Road closures remain in effect. The chemical leak has been stabilized; however potentially dangerous fumes remain in the area. Experts remain onscene and are monitoring. They will advise when it is safe to reopen the roadways. Please continue to remain away from the area.
