LOCATION: 400 block of W. Center St. Pomona
CALL TYPE: Arrest warrant for Conspiracy to Commit Murder. Bail: $1.5 million
SUSPECT: Justin Rivas age 24, he is not a Pomona resident
UNIT: Patrol Division + Major Crimes Task Force
Pomona Police Officers attempted to apprehend the suspect at a residence within the 400 block of W. Center St. The suspect was believed to be armed. Initially, the suspect refused to exit the home; however, after approximately one hour of negotiation with the suspect, he was safely taken in to custody. There was no use-of-force and no one was injured during this incident.
