Los Altos Police arrested two juveniles for Carjacking and Robbery

Los Altos, CA – Los Altos Police Department arrested two juvenile males for Carjacking (felony) – 215(a) PC and Robbery (felony) – 211 PC. 
On 11-04-19 at approximately 10:48 pm, the Los Altos Police Department responded to a carjacking and robbery that occurred in a residential parking garage of a condominium building located in the 100 block of Second Street in Los Altos.  Victim #1 (66 year old male) and Victim #2 (64 year old female) arrived at the parking garage and parked their vehicle.  Suspect #1 (16 year old male juvenile) and Suspect #2 (15 year old male juvenile) entered the parking garage and confronted the victims.  The suspects demanded the victim’s personal property and the keys to their vehicle.  The suspects assaulted Victim #1 causing physical injuries.  The suspects robbed the victims of their personal property and fled the parking garage in the victim’s vehicle. 
On 11-05-19 at approximately 12:30 am, the Los Altos Police Department located the victim’s vehicle to the 3700 block of Benton Street in Santa Clara.  The Santa Clara Police Department was notified and patrol units responded to the location.  Suspect #1 and Suspect #2 were located in possession of the victim’s vehicle and were arrested by the Santa Clara Police Department.  Suspect #1 and Suspect #2 were booked into the Santa Clara County Juvenile Hall for the above listed violations.
