The Simi Valley Police Department is asking residents to avoid the area of N. Wood Ranch Parkway and Lake Park Drive. Police Department personnel are conducting a Bomb Threat Investigation in the 500 block of Fairfield Road. Several residences within the area have been evacuated.
The presence of emergency vehicles and first responders in addition to the on-going investigation has created traffic congestion throughout the area.
An update on the incident will be sent out when more information is available.
