AIRPORT RD. UPDATE: The road will remain closed for at least a few more hours. The damaged poles and electrical wires have been repaired and we're now waiting for phone & cable companies to re-hang their cables onto the now-repaired poles. There are still wires on the ground so the road remains closed. We will post an update when the road has been opened.

Poplar Pl can be accessed from the west. Randall Rd. to Ice Cream Drive to Airport Rd.

Overland Dr. can be accessed from the east. Rt. 31 to Airport Rd.

North Aurora Police advises you to AVOID Location due to a current traffic issue. Wires down with lane closure on Airport Road has closed Airport Road at Poplar to all traffic and will require a detour of traffic for the next 2-3 hours. It is suggested that traffic use Oak Street between Randall Road and Route 31 as an alternative. Additional information will be sent out including the re-opening of the road as it becomes available.
