A cyber tip led to the arrest of Michael Currie of Adelanto for Possession of Child Pornography

SUSPECT: Michael Currie, age 23 a resident of Adelanto
SUMMARY:
Investigators from the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department, Crimes Against Children Division (CAC), began an investigation into a cyber tip that was reported by an Electronic Service Provider (ESP). The cyber tip contained various images and videos of child pornography. Through investigation, investigators determined the ESP account belonged to the suspect, Michael Currie.
On Tuesday, November 5, 2019, personnel from the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department, Specialized Enforcement Detail (SED) arrested Currie in the city of Adelanto. Currie was subsequently booked into High Desert Detention Center and bail was set at $25,000.
