Thank you to the Amarillo community. As a direct result of social media/Nixle and our community, Kiara was seen by a citizen and police notified. She was picked up and has been reunited with her family. Thank you all for your help to locate this young girl. The citizens of Amarillo are a great community and we appreciate your help!

Amarillo Police need your assistance locating an 11 year old runaway girl. Her name is Kiara Bendasta, and she is a black female, age 11. She attends Bonham middle school. She ran away from her mother when she arrived at school to pick her up. Kiara did leave on her own and we do not suspect foul play, however we do need help locating her to return her to her family. Please call the Amarillo Police at 806-378-3038, if you have any information on Kiara's location.
