Kern Valley arrest for stolen packages, drugs
On November 3, 2019, at about 5:15 pm, Kern County Sheriff’s Office Deputies assigned to the Kern Valley Substation were dispatched to Lok’s Garden regarding the theft of six packages from the business. The value of the stolen items was estimated at $3,000. Upon reviewing security video footage, deputies recognized 27-year-old Jamie Tebow as one of the suspects involved in the theft. Deputies went to a nearby residence to speak with Tebow and located two of the stolen packages on her porch. Deputies authored a search warrant for her residence and located two additional stolen packages inside the residence, as well as a small quantity of suspected heroin and methamphetamine. The four recovered packages were returned to the owner, two packages have not yet been recovered. Tebow was arrested and booked into the Central Receiving Facility for numerous felony and misdemeanor charges.
