* At 402 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 6 miles northeast of Beartown State Park to near Cascades, moving northeast at 65 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include... Alleghany... Covington... Clifton Forge... New Castle... Paint Bank... Sinking Creek... and Millboro.

A Tornado Watch also remains in effect until 1100 PM EDT for central, south central, southwestern and west central Virginia. Prepare immediately for damaging winds.
