APD is investigating a shooting in south Amarillo.

On Tuesday October 29 at 8:08 PM, APD officers were dispatched to a residence in the 4400 block of south Bowie on an aggravated assault. Officers found an 18 year old male with a gunshot wound to the upper body. Officers were told that two black males broke into the residence and started demanding items. Before leaving, one of the males shot the victim. The two suspects are only described as a dark skinned black male about 6`4`` tall wearing a blue shirt and a dark skinned black male about 6` tall, wearing a black shirt. The victim was transported to a local hospital with what is believed to be non-life threatening injuries. The investigation into this incident is ongoing.
