          The City of Carmi Trick or Treating hours will continue to be tonight (10/31/19) from 4pm to 8pm.  If you wish to participate in having trick or treaters come to your home please make certain to have a porch light on.               
          The Carmi Chamber of Commerce and City of Carmi Trunk or Treat will be in the First Bank Lot behind the Light and Water Office.  This will begin at 5:30 pm and end at 7:00 pm.  The line up will start on West Cherry St.  around the Blankenship Auto Parts Store area.
          Stewart St Baptist Church will also be hosting a Trunk or Treat on the church parking lot from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm. 
           Carmi Church of the Nazarene will be hosting a Trunk or Treat event from 5:00 pm to 7:00pm at their church on 6th St. 
          Trinity Assembly of God will be hosting their Halloween Alternative Fall Festival at their church on Saunders Avenue from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm. 
          Wabash Christian Village also will be opening their doors to trick or treaters for the trick or treating hours.  
          Please use caution when driving this evening and watch for children walking and crossing roadways.  Only go to homes that your familiar with and stay in groups and well lit areas.  Make sure to have reflective costumes and/or glow in the dark items or flashlights so motorists can easily see trick or treaters.
