Delano deputies arrest suspect for robbery, criminal threats, and domestic battery

On October 30, 2019, at about 8:30 a.m., deputies from the Delano Substation responded to a domestic violence call in the area of Kimberlina Road and Highway 99. Deputies arrived and determined 25-year-old Maximino Parral robbed the victim of her belongings after threatening and assaulting her.

When deputies located Parral walking in the area, Parral immediately fled across Highway 99 and into nearby orchards. Deputies and the California Highway Patrol searched the area but Parral eluded capture. Several hours later, deputies relocated Parral near the intersection of California Avenue and Oak Street in Bakersfield. Parral was arrested without incident and booked into jail for robbery, criminal threats, and domestic battery. Parral was also booked for an outstanding misdemeanor warrant. (2019-00175475)
