Police Blotter October 22-27

October 22nd:

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia- El Dorado Ave. /San Mateo St.
At 6:33 am, officers responded to the report of several suspicious people in the area. Upon arrival, officers contacted a 32-year-old El Sobrante man and another subject. The pair had a car jack and multiple power tools. One of the subjects was on probation for burglary and had a bag filled with silverware along with methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. The man was arrested, booked at the ECPD, and released with a citation.

Grand Theft (From a Person) Starbucks - 3090 EC Plaza
At 4:34 am, an officer responded to the report of a grab-and-run of a laptop computer. The unknown suspect stole a patron’s computer and fled from the store.

October 23rd:

Warrant Arrest - 500 block of Elm St:
At 4:43, officers responded to a noise complaint and contacted a 22-year-old Napa man who was wanted on a $10,000 warrant from the Napa PD.

Warrant Arrest - Ohlone Greenway / Blake Street:
At 12:19 pm, an officer was conducting foot patrol on the BART path and contacted a 63-year-old El Cerrito resident who was wanted for a misdemeanor warrant. The man was arrested, booked, and released with a citation.

Residential Burglary – 5800 block of Alta Punta Ave:

At 6:53 pm, an officer responded to a residence to take a bicycle theft report. The victim reports his green and grey “Evil” brand bicycle was stolen from inside his open garage between 6:00 and 6:30 pm.

October 24th:

Robbery - Ohlone Greenway near Blake Street:
At 3:15 pm, officers responded to the report of a robbery that just occurred. An unidentified male shoved the victim to the ground and stole her backpack. The victim sustained minor injuries.

Auto Burglary – 11156 San Pablo Avenue:
At 8:39 pm, an officer reports an unknown suspect broke the rear liftgate window to the victim’s vehicle and removed a backpack that contained a laptop computer.

Warrant Arrest – 600 block of Norvell Street:
At 9:18 pm, an officer reports the arrest of a 27-year-old male who had an El Cerrito Police Department warrant. The man was arrested and transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.

October 25th

Grand Theft – 1600 block of Arlington Blvd.
At 11:03 am, an officer reports an unknown suspect removed the victim’s bicycle, which was mounted to the rear of the victim’s vehicle.

Auto Burglary – 1200 block of Brewster Dr.
At 11:22 am, an officer reports an unknown suspect broke the front passenger side window to the victim’s vehicle and removed a purse containing cosmetics.

Grand Theft – 3090 El Cerrito Plaza
At 12:30 pm, an officer reports an unknown suspect grabbed the victim’s laptop out from in front of her and ran off east through the parking lot towards the BART path.

Auto Burglary – 7000 block of Moeser Ln.
At 4:24 pm, an officer reports an unknown suspect broke the front passenger side window to the victim’s vehicle and removed a bag which contained clothing.

October 26th

October 27th

Burglary – 10636 San Pablo Ave.
At 3:58 pm, an officer reports an unknown suspect entered the women’s locker room, broke open the victim’s locker, and removed a purse that contained a wallet, cash, and car keys.
