Power in the City of Lakeport expected to be restored by tonight

PG&E reports power to the City of Lakeport is expected to be restored by this evening. As to what time this evening, they can't provide that "level of granularity". This is also contingent on not encountering significant damage.

If you have spoiled food as a result of a power outage:

  • Please put unpackagedfood waste in your BLACK waste cart that is used for normal trash.
  • Please put food packaging in your BLUE recycling cart depending on material (visit http://www.lakeportdisposal.comfor guidelines).

See this link for tips for dealing with potentially spoiled food: https://www.foodsafety.gov/food-safety-charts/food-safety-during-power-outage
