This past Friday, Atlanta Police requested assistance from the Sheriff Office on Chalk Way in RIverdale with arresting Lerenzo Harris for shooting a man in their jurisdiction.  Harris was arrested without incident and his female companion, Shanton Heard, was arrested as well when it was discovered that she was wanted for traffic charges.  

While arresting Heard and Harris, Deputies observed drugs a significant quantity of marijuana in plain view which prompted them to apply for a search warrant.

During the execution of the search warrant, 4 weapons were recovered to include two assault rifles, one with a 100 round drum. There was a felony amount of Marijuana, crack cocaine, meth and Heroin located in the residence as well.  Also recovered and seized was a bullet proof vest and US currency. Tactical patrol also located scales, baggies and evidence of distribution. 

The total weight on the narcotics is as following:

Marijuana 26 ounces or 741 Grams

Meth- 72 Grams

Heroin- 85 Grams

Crack- 76 Grams

Coke- 10 Grams

Harris and Heard were taken to Atlanta to answer for their charges there, but soon both of them will get to stay at “The Hill-ton” where they will learn how to face the wall at Georgia’s toughest para-military jail.
