Sections of Canal Road Closures Next Week 
Please be advised that sections of Canal Road will be closed during the day next week for work related to the D&R Canal dredging project from 9am to 4pm.
The first closure of Canal Road will occur Tuesday, 11/05/19 and Wednesday, 11/06/19 between Jacques Lane and Suydam Road.
The second closure of Canal Road will occur Thursday, 11/07/19 and Friday, 11/08/19 between Coppermine Road and Old Georgetown Road.
Motorists should expect an altered traffic pattern and are being asked to use caution when driving through the area. If at all possible motorists are encouraged to seek alternate routes of travel and avoid the area completely since some delays may occur. Residents in the area should also expect to see some increased traffic on surrounding roadways during this period.
