Mandatory and recommended evacuation orders have been lifted in the Stallion Springs area. Kern County Fire Department has stopped the forward progress of the fire.

The Kern County Sheriff’s Office is assisting Stallion Springs Police Department and Bear Valley Police Department in evacuating some homes in Stallion Springs after a structure fire has spread in the area of Cummings Court.
Mandatory evacuations are underway in the area of Percheron Place and Morgan Court.
Recommended evacuations are suggested for about a quarter mile radius in the area of Cummings Court.
A ReadyKern Alert was just sent to 285 recipients in the area for recommended evacuations.
